The power of async in managing stress in the hybrid work era
Emily Busse, director of Communications at Loom, published a piece on the IDG Connect – the analyst firm’s blog – on the mental health benefits that come from working asynchronously.
Busse highlights burnout, toxic productivity and the need for validation as some of the new stresses that have emerged from hybrid workplaces.
Interestingly, in a recent Loom survey, the company found that office workers are wasting 1 hour and 42 minutes scheduling and rescheduling calls costing an estimated 1.85 billion USD each week.
